Not exactly the same but for me, but while trying to access my wireless router, I entered the wrong password in my PocketPC IE password dialog. Of course, I chose 'Save My Password'. So every time I tried to access the router, I would get a '401 Not Authorized' or something like that, with no way to re-enter my credentials. Anyways, for a while I couldn't figure out how to get back in. I couldn't reset the router's password from another machine to match since I didn't know the incorrect password that I had entered via my PocketPC.
